In 2017, I was grateful to be admitted to the University of Redlands School of Music as a music composition major. Later on in my undergraduate studies, I realized how much time I was putting into practicing the oboe, so I added on oboe performance as a second major to my bachelor's. In 2021, I earned my bachelor's in Music Composition & Oboe Performance and in 2024, I earned my master's in Education. 

During my time in school, I received numerous musical awards, such as "Most Outstanding Composer," and had the privilege to play with the professional Redlands Symphony Orchestra. Then, I spent some years teaching music privately and in public school settings. Specifically, I served as a student teacher, then woodwind/oboe instructor for Summit High School in Fontana, California under James C. Sharp. I have been diving into video game music ever since!
