Educational Philosophy
Every student has a voice and no single one is stronger than the other. They all deserve to feel safe, respected, and included. Only after these necessities are met can we truly collaborate and learn from one another in a challenging, yet rewarding experience. I strive to help my students find their own unique voice!

I offer private lessons for music composition and oboe. Composition lessons can cover creative, original writing, arranging, orchestrating, counterpoint, score studying, music theory, and/or aural training (depending on your interests and goals). Any age group is welcome to sign up! Likewise, beginners to professionals are all welcome.

○ Prepared Summit High School’s FortePiano Symphony Orchestra to perform for WorldStrides at New York’s Carnegie Hall (April 2026)
○ Led Summit High School’s SkyHawk Marching Regiment & Color Guard at SoFi Stadium during student teaching (Fall 2023)
○ Privately taught multiple oboe students that have participated in San Bernardino County Basin Middle & High School Honor Bands as well as the San Bernardino Symphony Youth Orchestra
